Finture is an American registered investment advisor in global assets under management. Finture in one among the largest provider of Mutual Funds and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) in the world

PROBLEM STATEMENT

To revolutionize the platform's user experience with a modern, intuitive design and powerful new features. This includes seamless handling of complex workflows, complete transparency throughout the process, and a unified experience across all channels.

MY ROLE

I played a key role in the design team of eight, working across four areas to completely redesign our retirement platform. Through user research and collaboration with stakeholders, I helped identify pain points with the existing legacy system and designed solutions that deliver a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

We maintain a dedicated tracking sheet for each screen, allowing team members to collaboratively identify and address these issues. The sheet clearly reflects the current status of each identified inconsistency.

To ensure a polished user experience, we implement a rigorous two-step quality assurance process for all UI screens before client delivery. This process meticulously checks for spelling errors, component malfunctions, and any inconsistencies in spacing and alignment.

USABILITY TESTING

Our user testing was conducted in 3 stages as follows:

Pre-user testing: With the client UX team, we have set the needs for the testing. With the usability testing, we built detailed mid fidelity prototypes with real data points from environment.

During user testing: We carefully reviewed and documented all feedback received from our selection of subject matter experts, representing a range of platforms

Post - user testing: We meticulously documented all feedback received. User comments were prioritized during discussions with the client, product owner, and design team. Based on these discussions, we implemented relevant feedback to enhance the design.

THE SOLUTIONS

  • We ensured a smooth transition to the UI phase by utilizing our comprehensive Finture design system and conducting a thorough internal design review.

  • The finalized designs underwent a comprehensive review process, involving the Product Owner (PO), Development team, and the Finture team.

  • The approved design is then adapted to ensure a seamless user experience across various screen sizes, including those designed for devices with widths of 360px, 720px, 1040px, and 1440px.

  • To maintain project momentum, we successfully transitioned the final designs to the development team according to the established timeline.
